Abstract:

Letters and circulars addressed by Viceroys Revilla Gigedo the Second, Azanza, Garibay, and Venegas to the Abbess of the Convent, dealing principally with contributions solicited from the Convent.
Francisco Javier de Venegas, two circular letters from the Viceroy to the Abbess of the Convent: one requesting a contribution for establishment of a new police force; one acknowledging the contributions received. With rubric of Venegas. (5 p.)
Pedro Garibay, two circular letters from the Viceroy to the Abbess of the Convent: one requesting contributions to hasten the release of Fernando VII; the other transmitting copies of a viceregal edict dated March 18. With signature of Manuel Merino and rubric of Garibay.
Miquel José de Azanza, letter from the Viceroy to the Abbess of the Convent, asking for contributions to suppor a beggars' hospice.
Juan Vicente Revilla Gigedo, six letters from the Viceroy to the Abbess of the Convent, dealing principally with financial matters.
